If you’ve read my other Best Of CES awards, you’ll know I’ve been on the hunt for products that make complex or menial tasks easier through excellent hardware. After all, what is tech for if not to make our lives easier? BeBird’s Earsight Complete is the epitome of this philosophy.
It sounds simple on the face of it (and it is), an over-the-counter ear-cleaning kit, but have you ever actually tried to clean your ears yourself? And no, sticking a cotton wool tip in your ear doesn’t count. It’s virtually impossible, and if you ever need help it’s a nailed-on trip to the doctor.
The Earsight Complete kit totally changes this and is genuinely revolutionary. Warning, there will be talk of earwax…and ear canals…I’m going to say that’s a first for the Mark Ellis brand. But it’s worth it!

What’s so special about the BeBird Earsight Complete?
As far as consumer tech goes, you don’t get much more user-focused than BeBird simply for what it enables you to do.
The EarSight Complete is the only flexible endoscope camera with a light that is purpose-built to inspect ear canals. It is technology that usually only a doctor has access to.
The camera itself has 10 megapixels so you get a clear, high-quality picture of what you are looking at and it is all impressively contained behind a 3.1mm ultra-thin lens. To get that sort of high-definition in such a small space is an achievement on its own.
There is also built-in anti-shake technology which is pretty crucial for a device so small which just demonstrates the care that’s gone into designing this thing.

On its own, the camera is useful. You can use it to take pictures or videos of your ear canal that can then be sent to your doctor, potentially avoiding the need for an in-person appointment. But the added attachments take this even further.
The EarSight Complete comes with a range of different attachments to help you clean wax, inclduing scrapers and tweezers. Unlike using a q-tip, the EarSight actually lets you remove debris from inside your ear instead of making the problem worse. You can do all of this whilst still using the camera to ensure you can see what you’re doing.
But wait! That’s not it. The ear drops feature allows you to precisely target the areas that need it and there is a UV light for bacterial disinfection. It feels like nothing has been left to chance with the EarSight Complete.
How to use BeBird Earsight complete
The actual implement you use to inspect your ears comes in a larger dock. You can charge the camera whilst inside the dock using USB-C.
When you want to take a look inside your ears, you simply pop the camera out of the dock and connect with it from your smartphone via the BeBird app. Through the app, you can then see through the camera and save images of what you find.
The dropper is a separate attachment which you can clip on. To draw up liquid you press the button, like using a pippette, and then press it again to release it. All of the attachments can be stored safely in the dock.
Conclusion
The BeBird EarSight Complete was one of my favourite products at CES just because of how unique it is. It might not be a robotic, walking talking AI companion, but it does empower consumers to do something they haven’t been able to before.
If you have regular ear problems or just want peace of mind, then this tool will tangibly make your life easier by reducing the need to rely on doctor’s appointments. It’s not a total replacement, but if you have a blocked ear you can treat it at home instead of seeing a specialist.
This is the kind of tech that I love; high-quality, genuinely useful and pioneering. Things like this can slip under the radar at CES because they aren’t flashy or don’t involve whatever is trending. But it is a consumer tech convention and I admire companies that have really made an effort to make sure the consumer is getting value. At under $150, this is great value.
