Here’s everything we know (and some educated guesses) about the Galaxy S25 Edge.

The Return of the “Edge”

Do you remember the Galaxy S7 Edge? It is making a comeback, but this time, it’s not about curved displays – it’s apparently about thinness.

That does feel pretty confusing. Why is Samsung bringing back a smartphone that is renowned for curved edges (it’s literally the name) but making it’s selling point it’s thinness?

But some more details have emerged: Samsung is redefining what “Edge” means. Apparently, it’s less about the physical edge of the screen and more about being on the cutting edge of smartphone design. Maybe?

The Ultra-Thin Design

The Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to be astonishingly thin, measuring in at 6.4mm. To put that into perspective, it’s about as thick as a stack of five credit cards.

Comparing it to its siblings, the S25 Edge is a full millimetre thinner than the Galaxy S25+, which comes in at 7.3mm. Compared to the iPhone 16 Pro at 8.25mm, it should feel pretty slim!
