HONOR, the smartphone brand, has just unveiled its new HONOR 200 Series in Europe.
The HONOR 200, HONOR 200 Pro and HONOR 200 Lite, were created in collaboration with the Parisian portrait house, Studio Harcourt and utilise AI technology to enable users to take ‘professional-grade’ portrait photos.
We’ve covered HONOR’s devices in the past, such as the Magic6 Pro and Lite, HONOR 90 and the Magic V2, so how will the 200 Series differ? Here’s everything we know so far about Honor’s 200 Series.
Studio Harcourt & HONOR

As mentioned above, at the heart of the HONOR 200 Series’ lies a partnership with Studio Harcourt, a well-known Parisian Portraiture institution.
The studio is said to have supported the making of the phone series by offering their expertise in light and shadow and integrating it with HONOR’s AI, allowing the user to allegedly capture ‘studio-quality’ portraits.
HONOR 200 Display
The display is essential when reviewing studio-quality images, which the new HONOR smartphones promise. The devices are equipped with1.5K Quad-curved Floating Display, combined with a peak HDR brightness of 4000 nits, which provides great visibility even in direct sunlight.

Furthermore, the display’s 3840Hz Risk-free PWM Dimming, verified by TÜV Rheinland, and the Natural Tone 2.0 feature, optimizes colour temperature based on ambient light and prioritizes eye comfort for extended usage.
The HONOR 200 Pro Camera
The flagship model of the HONOR 200 Series, the HONOR 200 Pro, is equipped with a triple 50MP portrait camera system, and an array of portrait photography features.

The Super Dynamic H9000 Sensor, coupled with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, is set to ensure exceptional detail and clarity, even in challenging lighting conditions.
The 50MP Portrait Telephoto Camera and customized Sony sensor further enhance the device’s ability to capture distant subjects.
The 200 Pro will be able to take portraits that draw a direct comparison to Harcourt’s style. This was achieved by analyzing over 1,000 lighting scenarios and millions of datasets.
HONOR 200 PRO Performance Connectivity
Under the hood, the HONOR 200 Pro packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, delivering a CPU clock speed of up to 3GHz for seamless graphics rendering and real-time responsiveness.

Complementing the processor is a generous 12GB of memory (better than the iPhone 15 Pro and Max which has 8GB) and a capacious 512GB storage drive.
HONOR 200 PRO Battery
The Pro HONOR 200 smartphone is equipped with a large 5200mAh Silicon-carbon battery, the device can provide up to 61 hours of continuous music streaming on a single charge.

Moreover, the 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge allow users to fully charge their device in just 41 minutes, making it an ideal companion for busy, on-the-go lifestyles.
HONOR 200 Lite: Photography
Alongside the flagship HONOR 200 Pro, the brand also unveiled the HONOR 200 Lite, a more affordable option that still delivers impressive portrait photography capabilities.

Featuring a powerful triple camera system, including a 108MP Main Camera, 5MP Wide & Depth Camera, and 2MP Macro Camera, the HONOR 200 Lite empowers users to capture stunning images.

The 50MP Front Camera is also coupled with a Selfie Light for more flattering images.

Collaboration with Rankin
In addition to the partnership with Studio Harcourt, HONOR has also announced a major collaboration with portrait photographer, Rankin.
