Best iPhone 15 Cases: Reviewed, Tested and Recommended

Deciding on the best iPhone 15 case for you is all about balancing protection, functionality, style and cost. How you place weight on each of those factors will determine which of the cases we’ve reviewed feels most appropriate.

Ultimately, you want a case that will stop your iPhone from breaking if you drop it. Cheaper cases might do that to some degree, but all of the cases we have reviewed here give you superior protection, MagSafe compatibility and some added extras like stands.

Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly option or a sustainable choice, we have you covered. Let’s dive in and find the perfect case for your iPhone 15.

    1. Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4: Sleek and Tough

    Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4

The Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4 is a no-frills, does-what-it says-on-the-tin, iPhone 15 case. And it’s an excellent one at that.

This case is one of the thinnest and lightest premium phone cases around, coming in at 1.65mm and 35g. It combines aramid fibre and TPU to provide military-grade shockproofing, whilst there are metal buttons on the side to give it a real sturdy look and feel.

The Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4 is MagSafe compatible, so you can still charge your iPhone 15 wirelessly, as well as a built-in NFC chip so you can check the product’s authenticity.

There are three colour options, all in a twill pattern: Black/Grey, Black/Brown and Black/Blue. Whilst nothing too groundbreaking in terms of style, the twill pattern does add an element of uniqueness and it looks premium.

The Pitaka MagEZ Case Pro 4 also has rounded edges for a comfortable grip during extended use and the raised camera lip is also well-designed in that it comfortably protects the lenses. On top of all that, the light weight means it hardly feels any different to holding a naked iPhone.

At $69.99/£69.99 (currently discounted) it isn’t exactly cheap, but you are getting one of the best iPhone 15 cases around made with premium materials.

    2. Casekoo Magic Stand Series: Functionality Meets Style

    Casekoo Magic Stand Series

Casekoo Magic Stand cases feature a minimalist design with rounded-off side railings, silicon button covers and the same level of camera protection as the MagEZ Case Pro 4.

The key selling point of the Casekoo Magic Stand Series, as you might have guessed, is the hidden flip-out Magic Stand. The stand is circular, folds back flush into the case and can be used when your phone is horizontal or vertical.

As such, it is a discreet, versatile stand that actually holds your phone up and goes beyond a gimmick. The stand also contains magnetic rings to make the Casekoo MagSafe compatible.

Casekoo also offers a more advanced case called the ‘Air Bumper’ which employs what they call Air Cushioning Technology. This means the case has a pocket of air within the case to supposedly increase shock resistance.

The Casekoo Magic Stand series protects from a 3-meter drop with this advanced technology, but the standard models perform well here too.

Made from TPU only, these cases do look and feel less premium than others on this list, but that also means a lower price of $45/£45. And you do get a lot for your money here, that stand is very handy.

Plus, there’s a much wider range of colours all in a matte finish, including a great see-through option so the beauty of your titanium iPhone 15 can shine through.

    3. MOFT Snap Case: Unique Stand, Ultra Minimalist

    MOFT Snap Case

The MOFT Snap Case is nothing if not innovative.

The case itself is pretty unremarkable. Made with a hard plastic back and soft plastic sides, it feels nice and grippy on the sides. There is also, of course, a magnetic ring on the back that firmly secures your iPhone 15 to any MagSafe accessory.

The design isn’t particularly slim, it has nothing on the Pitaka’s level of sleekness, but the MOFT Snap Case truly comes alive with its unique stand.

MOFT offers a range of snap-on phone stands, some that also double as wallets, to transform the functionality of their cases. Made with a soft, felt-like outer layer, the stands magnetically attach to the back of the cases and come in an array of shapes and configurations.

The best of these is the Tripod stand, which folds out from a flat profile into a full-on raised phone stand. All the stands work in horizontal and vertical positions, including some in-between angles.

There is not much point in buying a MOFT case unless you also buy the attachable stand. If you do, you’ll get a genuinely useful bit of kit that may transform how you interact with your phone.

Available in clear and a polarising white colour, the MOFT Snap Case alone costs $33/£33 with the most basic stand adding an extra $25/£25. This is good value for a case that protects your phone and brings something truly unique to the table.

    4. Benks MagClap ArmorPro: Rugged Durability, Great Value

    Benks MagClap ArmorPro

Benks makes excellent Apple accessories at amazing value price points. If you’ve ever read our blogs, you’ll know how much we love their stuff, especially their Benks Pen for iPad.

Benks’ MagClap ArmorPro Case is made from 600D DuPont Kevlar fibres, you know, the stuff they use to make stab-proof vests. As such, it offers excellent impact protection at a light weight of 44g.

At 1.5mm, it is slim and its MagSafe rings are hidden behind the exterior design. The case also has raised edges to protect your screen with the option to buy Benks’ GlassWarrior Lens Protector to fully encase your iPhone 15.

The best thing about the Benks MagClap ArmorPro? The price. At $31.99/£31.99, you are getting a high-quality, protective case that does all you’d expect.

    5. Wave Case: Best Sustainable iPhone 15 Case

For the environmentally-conscious, the Wave Case is a great choice. This case is made from biodegradable wheat straw (cool right?) and comes in 100% recyclable packaging.

The Wave Case is super low-key in terms of design features, with old-school features like a cutout for the Action button on the Pro models. The MagSafe support is solid, and the case provides reliable protection for your device.

The Wave Case feels premium in your hands, and different to anything else due to its straw material base. With an array of excellent-looking pastel colours, the Wave Case ticks a lot of boxes.

There are no frills but the $35/£35 price tag is worth it if you want something eco-friendly.

What To Look For In An iPhone 15 Case

    When choosing the best iPhone 15 case, there are several factors to consider;

    • Protection: Ensure that the case offers adequate protection against drops, scratches, and everyday wear and tear. Look for cases with military-grade drop protection and raised edges for added screen and camera protection.
    • Compatibility: Make sure a case is suitable for your specific model. Don’t get caught out by a case that doesn’t have an Action Button cover for example if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max.
    • Style and Design: Choose a case that reflects your personal style and complements the aesthetic of your iPhone 15. Consider options with unique colours or a see-through design.
    • Functionality: Determine what features are important to you, such as built-in stands, compatibility with MagSafe accessories, or wireless charging capabilities. Find a case that meets your specific needs.
    • Slimness and Weight: If you prefer a slim and lightweight profile, look for cases that maintain the sleekness of your iPhone 15 while still providing adequate protection. Thinner cases = lighter weight.
    • Eco-friendliness: For those who prioritize sustainability, consider cases made from eco-friendly materials or packaging that is recyclable or biodegradable.
